OUR WORK SO FAR

SLC HCS GLOBAL INVITATIONAL

DEFINING WHAT HALO EVENTS CAN BE THROUGH A CULTURE AND FAN-FIRT APPROACH

Airlock worked with Spacestation Gaming & Microsoft to host the HCS Global Invitational: Salt Lake City 2023. While there have been other global invitationals, this was a one-of-a-kind Halo event featuring a 22,000 square foot expo space with games, booths, scavenger hunts, and stages. Airlock worked with 3 venues and 6 vendors to sell out over 500 tickets and pull in over 3,000 total attendees. Countless hours of love and passion went into the HCS Global Invitational: Salt Lake City 2023 earning it the community-given title of “one of the best halo events in history”.

MINECRAFT DUNGEON GAUNTLET

We made a big step with our Dungeon Gauntlet event

We teamed up with Katalyst to create an entirely unique set of dungeons packed with puzzles, challenges, and boss battles for 25+ of the greatest Minecraft creators there are. We were proud to provide an engaging event for players and viewers alike, while raising nearly $5,000 for charity.

“Working with the Airlock team to conceptualize and execute on Dungeons was an extremely seamless experience. They came to us with a solid concept and worked closely with us to flesh out the finer details. The team's attention to detail and organization gave us a great foundation for successful execution.”

CASHAPP RUMBLE ROYALE

WE BROUGHT THE FGC TO VEGAS

Airlock teamed up with TampaNeverSleeps to introduce Cashapp to the Fighting Game community. They flew out eight top-notch Street Fighter 6 players to showcase high-level gameplay and settle rivalries in a Salty Suite-style event. The event was a huge success, with fans and players alike raving about the exciting matches. Overall, the Cashapp Fighting Game event was a huge success, and helped to raise awareness of this exciting and vibrant community. With the continued support of sponsors, the Fighting Game scene is sure to grow and thrive in the years to come.

Cash App stole the fans of hearts and the participants alike. With a few using Cash App already participants were ecstatic to see tournaments “finally upgrading their payment system” and getting their winnings right after their matches. Players also showcased their immediate payouts and usage of Cash App on stream alongside the casters creating fun post-game interviews and payouts.

SMASH BROS ULTIMATE

when covid was raging, we were gaming

Fighting games took a serious hit during the pandemic. There were no tournaments to be found, anywhere. We love competitive events, so we decided to step in and host a few of our own!

Our best comp was in February of 2021, when we hosted a remote Smash Bros. Ultimate tournament featuring some of the top Smash players on the planet. Bringing the community back together was a massive W for competitive gaming fans everywhere, and we raised a ton of money for charity in the process.

LONGEST(ER) ROCKET LEAGUE GAME

A historical Rocket League stream to clean up our oceans

Community engagement is how we grow, together. We helped SunlessKhan put on the biggest collab in Rocket League history, playing the longest game of Rocket League of all time. The event lasted 24 Hours and brought the whole Rocket League community together.

But if that wasn’t enough, we also decided to raise some money for charity. Over the course of our 24-hour stream we raised a total of $40,000 to clean up the world’s ocean! That’s big points on the board.

If your goal is to bring a community together, expand it, and have a ton of fun, Airlock’s got you covered. We do all the heavy lifting so you can kick back and make it rain for the community.

“Airlock helped bring my ambitious, content-focused streaming event to life. By doing so much of the legwork and detail planning, they freed me up to focus more on the content which is ultimately the best thing for every creator!”

KEN GARFF EPORTS

TEAMING UP FOR UTAH'S HIGH SCHOOL ESPORTS

They told us making a fun, explorative, competitive Minecraft speedrunning event was just too crazy to work. So we built a huge custom parkour course inside a bunch of spaceships and set the community loose on it! It was creative, engaging, and totally unique.

This event was all about having fun, exploring a map full of secrets, and competing in a laid-back way. We gave out prize money and trophies for completing the map without dying, and people went nuts for it.

With Airlock, no idea is too wacky or out there. We’re all about thinking outside the box to create inspired new content. If you’ve got a wild idea, we’re on board to turn it into an even wilder reality.
